APPLICANT CONSENT NOTICE
1. Introduction
The purpose of this Notice is to tell you about the ways in
which your Personal Data (including your Sensitive Personal Data) provided
above will be used by HomeServe (the Company) for the purposes of equal opportunities
monitoring.
This Notice is supplemental to, and does not replace, the
Company's Applicant Privacy Notice, which is available via the ‘Privacy Policy’
link at the bottom of this page. Please consult the Company's Applicant Privacy
Notice for more information about how the Company currently processes your
Personal Data and your Sensitive Personal Data and your rights in connection
with that data.
2. How we plan to use your PERSONAL AND SENSITIVE PERSONAL
data
We will process the data you provide above in order to
monitor equal opportunities and diversity within the workplace and, where
necessary, to defend legal claims.
Access to this data will be limited to those who have a need
to know the data for the purposes of managing and administering the equal
opportunities and diversity monitoring and may include personnel in HR and HR
Operations.
3. Transfer and use of personal DATA
There is no requirement for the Company to transfer your
Personal Data and Sensitive Personal Data to any third party as the data will
be consolidated and reported collectively to monitor equal opportunities and
diversity across the Company.
4. Retention
A soft copy of the data provided by you will be stored on the
HR Information System and password protected. Access to this data will be on a
need to know basis only. If your application is successful the data
will be stored on the HR Information System during the period of your
employment and for up to 6 months after the termination of your employment to
allow the Company to extract the data and create an anonymous, statistical
report of our current diversity profile at any given time. If your
application is unsuccessful the data will be deleted 6 months after your
application date.

5. Refusing consent
You may elect not to consent to your Personal Data and
Sensitive Personal Data being used in this way.
Your decision not to consent to the Company's use of your
Personal Data and Sensitive Personal Data in the manner set out in this Notice
is voluntary. The provision of your consent is entirely at your
option. From an applicant perspective, such refusal will have no adverse
consequences or other impact on any decisions made relating to your employment.
6. How to withdraw your consent
You can withdraw your consent at any time by instructing us
on email to Peopleadminteam@homeserve.com
7. Acknowledgement and Consent
I acknowledge that I have read, understood and agree to, the
contents of this Notice.
I understand and explicitly agree that the Company will
process and disclose my Sensitive Personal Data and Personal Data in accordance
with this Notice in order to carry out equal opportunities and diversity
monitoring within the workplace.
